Payment, Renewals, and Cancellations
Depending on when you take up the insurance you may pay a pro-rata rate of the premium. This is because your policy is linked to evee’s wider fleet policy which ends on the 31st March and renews on 1st of April, hence your insurance period. This must be paid in full (we are working on being able to offer the option of monthly instalments to our NZ customers soon).
When it is time to renew, Nsure sends you the renewal paperwork with the new rates for the following year when the policy renews on the 1st of April.
If you decide to cancel you insurance because you are not renting your car out anymore, you will need to let Nsure know. You will be refunded the pro-rata amount and a cancellation fee of up to $275 will apply. Please make sure to also remove your listing and notify our support team you are leaving via support@evee.co.nz.
