About Aftermarket Steering Wheels for Tesla Model 3
After-market yoke steering wheel modifications are strictly not allowed for Tesla Model 3. Our insurer will only accept vehicles fitted with steering wheels certified by the vehicle manufacturer as suitable for that vehicle (for occupant protection purposes).
At the time of this article there are no after-market steering wheels approved by Tesla and as such, would not meet compliance standards nor our insurer's requirements for acceptance. Please make sure to declare if you do have this installed in your car.
