Electric Vehicles We Accept

We are committed to helping reduce the environmental impact of cars by establishing the first New Zealand P2P 100% electric car sharing company in 2022 (we started in Australia early 2016). We solely promote the use of renewable energy and clean technologies.

evee accepts all electric vehicles currently available in the New Zealand market.

We know that electric conversion vehicles are on the rise and we are continuously working with our insurer to provide coverage for such vehicles. If you have an electric conversion vehicle and are interested in listing your vehicle on the platform, please reach out directly to the team at support@evee.co.nz and we will be happy to provide you with more information on how this may be possible.

Important Information about Novated Leased Vehicles

If you have an EV that is currently on a novated lease and you wish to rent it out on evee, please consult with your lessor or lease holder.

Whether you can rent out the car depends on the lease holder and their conditions for the lease. We ask you to enquire with your lessor if they approve of this use for the car. As novated leases, the vehicle is not owned by the lessee but owned by the lessor. Instead, lessees are paying to use the vehicle up to an agreed amount of years before making the final payment. Thus it’s a different setup to financing a vehicle.
