Each vehicle on evee has a minimum age requirement displayed on each car listing page.
Generally speaking, our vehicles require our renters to be of a minimum age of:
- 25 for non-performance standard vehicles (e.g. Tesla Model 3 & Y Standard)
- 30 for performance and premium vehicles (e.g. Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X, Audi e-tron, etc.)
Age restrictions can change from time to time depending on the underwriter's requirements.
If on the day of your rental you are within a month from turning the required age, we can request an exemption from our insurer. Please contact support@evee.co.nz and make sure to include:
- Copy of your driver licence
- Intended rental dates
Note: You cannot allow any driver to operate the vehicle who is not part of the evee platform as they not completed the process of adding an additional driver. Without an evee account, these drivers are not covered by insurance.
