You are allowed to have up to three drivers for your booking and it’s free! All drivers must complete the following successfully and be verified through the evee platform to be covered by insurance.
All additional drivers must:
- Sign up and create an account on booking website www.evee.co.nz,
- Fill in profile details including phone number, address, and birthday,
- Upload a copy of their driver's licence and complete our driver declaration via the Personal Info account page.
- If you haven't already, please also inform the owner that your booking has an extra driver.
We are working on a feature to link drivers to each booking. In the meantime, the above steps are sufficient to have drivers verified and approved to drive.
Please note: the main authorised driver is ultimately responsible for ensuring all drivers comply with the rental and insurance terms.
Please make sure that the additional driver(s) are at the minimum age requirement to use the specific vehicle and have completed the driver's declaration form correctly. Otherwise they will not be covered by insurance in the event of an accident.
